Chocolate Covered Pretzel Tutorial

Making chocolate covered pretzels is extremely easy and can be oh so impressive!

Here is what you need to make the pretzels in the picture above:
- Regular shaped pretzels (flavor of your preference)
- White chocolate melts or chocolate chips
- Yellow chocolate melts
- Black chocolate melts
- 2 quart size plastic bags or decorating bags
- Parchment paper
- Scissors
- 1 regular sized coffee mug

Instructions:
Fill mug about half way with white chocolate melts. Put in the microwave for about a minute to a minute and a half. DO NOT WALK AWAY from your microwave; you will need to stir the chocolate every 20 seconds until the chocolate resembles a liquid consistency. Dip the pretzel vertically into the melted chocolate, covering the bottom half with chocolate. Shake the pretzel back and forth in the cup to remove excess chocolate. Place the half dipped chocolate pretzel on the parchment paper and follow the same process for your other pretzels. Carefully place the parchment paper on a flat surface in the fridge for about 10 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.
When the chocolate has hardened, remove parchment paper from the fridge and repeat the process by dipping the opposite ends of the pretzels. This will cover the pretzels completely in the white chocolate. Let them chill in the fridge for another 10 minutes.

Put some of the black chocolate melts in one plastic bag and some of the yellow melts in the other plastic bag. Heat in microwave until it is a liquid consistency; make sure to kneed/massage the bag every 20 seconds. Cut off a very small piece in the bottom corner of each bag. Remember that you can always cut the whole bigger but you can never make it smaller!

Line up all of the white chocolate pretzels and make zig zags with the yellow chocolate, followed by the black chocolate in the opposite direction. Let them chill for another few minutes until they have hardened.

Enjoy!
